Successful Constructability workshop in Sandefjord, Norway

All participants of the Brevik CCS project was recently gathered in Sandefjord in an important workshop to plan into detail the next upcoming steps of the project. 

The main goals of the workshop is to align, discuss and conclude on common challenges related to the coordination of construction, installation and transport operations and methods, sequences, dependencies and durations on the construction site in Brevik.  Throughout the workshop, a detailed 3D-model was used to show each step and day in the next months and year. This helped to visualize all tasks and to identify potential challenges at an early stage.

The second focus for the workshop was to continue the teambuilding.  As there are many partners involved, it has been a clear focus to lower the threshold to talk, support, and help eachother out in an early stage. In a project of this size, a pivotal point will be to address problems and challenges early, to reduce the risk of these maturing.

The workshop gathered around 30 participants both internally from Norcem, HC, and externally from sub-contractors. The workshop continuous today.
